Associate in Science
An Associate in Science (A.S.) degree at Kish is designed to parallel the first two years of courses needed for students pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree. The A.S. degree focuses on coursework more related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. At Kish, you can earn an A.S. degree through our general pathway or you can choose one of Kish鈥檚 many specific programs if you already know the major you want to study.
By earning an Associate in Science, you may:
- Build necessary coursework to transfer to a four-year institution
- Gain experience and sharpen your skills at the college level
- Improve your job outlook and increase your potential salary

Program Details
- People with an associate degree have higher career earnings compared to those who have some college or do not have an education past high school, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
- Those who have earned an associate degree have a lower unemployment rate than people who have completed less education, according to BLS.
- If you end up pausing your education after completing an associate degree, it will provide benefits that you would not get if you stopped halfway through earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree.
- Transfer to a 4-year institution to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a program of your choosing.
- A general Associate in Science degree keeps your options available when choosing a major at the next level.
- After being accepted to Kish, there is no formal program admissions process for an A.S. degree.

Kish College pinning ceremony welcomes 12 new Radiologic Technologists
91快活林 Radiologic Technology students were honored during a pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 15, at the College. Kish recognized 12 students for completing the Radiologic Technology program and presented each graduate with a special pin before family and friends during the ceremony.
