Requirements

• IAI 1.1 transfer courses require a minimum of a master's degree within the discipline or any master's degree with 18 graduate hours appropriate to the academic field of study or in the discipline in which the instructor will be teaching. 
• CTE 1.2 courses require 2,000 hours of work experience and appropriate, recognizable credentials, depending on the specific field.

Approval Process

1. High school expresses interest in dual credit.
2. Provide unofficial transcripts and credential review form and/or VACCT to Kish's Director of Dual Credit.
3. Once approved, submit official transcripts, resume and completed non-employee packet.
4. Your Kish account will be created.

Upon approval, Human Resources will create your myKish account. myKish is your link to what's happening, your source for college news and announcements, and your starting point for access to online tools such as email, Brightspace by D2L, Self-Service, KishConnect, calendar and others.

Sample syllabi will be provided. Submit completed and current syllabi to the Director of Dual Credit for review. 

Class Hours & Student Work Requirements

• 800 minutes per credit hour of instructional contact time. 
• Meets all Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) course requirements, if applicable. 
• Syllabus and course design reviewed by Kish faculty.

Final Grade Submission & Backup

Go to myKish to submit final grades. Submit a copy of your semester grade book to the Director of Dual Credit.

High School Teacher

• High school teachers may be credentialed to teach college courses by meeting the Illinois Community College Board requirements as outlined above.
• This option allows the high school to use their faculty for instruction.
• A $50 course fee per student is paid directly to 91快活林. The fee is waived for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch.

91快活林 Adjunct Instructor

• 91快活林 credentialed instructors may be available.
• Classes can be offered as face-to-face or through possible remote options.
• A $1,150-per-credit-hour course fee is billed to the high school.
